Taylor Swift Has a Dublin Charity “over the moon” for Her Humanitarian Efforts
Whether it is written in the stars or she writes her own, Taylor Swift’s success is enough to make her peers envious. Yet, what truly sets her apart in this constellation of stars is not just her ability to evoke jealousy, but to earn genuine respect. While her Eras Tour invigorated local businesses, boosted economies, and turned her tour stops into a hotspot for Tinseltown exclusives, on a more personal level, her humanitarian sensibility recently led a Dublin-based charity to share their appreciation after she listed them as a beneficiary.
While respect for Swift has always been prevalent, the Dublin charity now has added another reason for fans to admire.

Taylor Swift recently visited the Irish capital, Dublin, for three sold-out Eras Tour shows in June at the Aviva Stadium. It was previously reported that a charity in Dublin had received a generous sum of 25,000 euros, which is $27,250. Speaking on BBC Radio Ulster’s Evening Extra show, manager Paula Harris of the Dublin-based food support charity, Crosscare told the entire organization is “over the moon” upon learning they would be a beneficiary on Wednesday.
Crosscare addresses food poverty, provides homeless services, assists asylum seekers, and offers counseling throughout the city. Mrs. Harris expressed the charity’s excitement over Swift’s support, noting that the donation aligns with a cause close to the star’s heart. She emphasized that the support goes beyond financial aid, offering a valuable opportunity to raise awareness and reach more people in need, as they have already seen an increase in demand for their services.
Those who think this is Swift's first attempt to make lives better are mistaken. She has already done something similar in the U.K.

Taylor Swift has achieved billionaire status on her own merit, but it took the scale of her Eras Tour to showcase why she is truly one in a billion. While her recent donation to a Dublin-based charity has certainly elevated the respect she commands, it is not her first philanthropic effort. In June, during her three-night run at Anfield Stadium in Liverpool, Rich Jones, Chief Executive of St. Andrew’s Community Network, told The Guardian that a contribution from Swift provided a year’s worth of meals.
Jones noted that Swift’s donation came at a critical time when rising costs and declining donations had created significant gaps in their fundraising. Shortly thereafter, in Wales, Rachel Biggs, Chief Executive of Cardiff Foodbank, revealed that Swift had discreetly covered 10,800 meals with a donation to their organization. Although Swift keeps her charitable acts low-profile, these occasional glimpses into her generosity highlight that she is not just a superstar, but a role model for the generation.
