Future just scored his third #1 album of 2024 with the debut of ‘Mixtape Pluto,’ which has claimed the top spot on the Billboard chart for the week of October 5. Pop Base on X claims he is now the only artist this decade to join forces with Taylor Swift by landing three #1 albums in a single year. According to Luminate, this September 20 release racked up an impressive 129,000 equivalent album units in the US during the week ending September 26.

Future kicked off 2024 with a bang, snagging two #1 hits alongside Metro Boomin: ‘We Don’t Trust You’ and ‘We Still Don’t Trust You.’ Of the total from ‘Mixtape Pluto,’ a whopping 118,500 came from streaming, 10,000 from actual album sales, and 500 from track equivalent albums. Meanwhile, Swift’s record-breaking ‘The Tortured Poets Department’ slipped just a tad, dropping from 6th to 7th on the Billboard 200 with 47,000 equivalent album sales.

After her epic VMA sweep this year, she dropped a shiny new Dombresky remix of ‘I Can Do It With a Broken Heart’ from her 11th studio album, ‘The Tortured Poets Department.’

Even though fans worry about the backlash from all the variants, this track hit home like never before, cementing its place on playlists everywhere for an endless loop. So, while Future may have matched Swift in one area and she is taking a little dip on the Billboard 200, her fans are still just as obsessed with the album as they were when it dropped back in April.
