Just days before the official release of her 15th studio album, Taylor Swift took to Instagram to announce her Target exclusive 'The Tortured Poets Department' vinyl collection. This, although a unique move, was considered to be quite bold given the saturation of online streaming platforms. However, no questions about her genius were raised once the collection hit the shelves. The singer could not have been any more overwhelmed by the reaction as she penned down a handwritten note.
In her handwritten note directed to her ever so supportive fans, Swift wrote "It's an honor to be able to trust you with my feelings." Written in the singer's very own calligraphy, the note was crafted to bring tears to any Swiftie's eyes. This handwritten note and Swift's achievement came hand in hand with Record Store Day. Therefore, it seems along with supporting their idol, fans have also boosted record sales.
While, on one hand, Swifties may have saved one of the unique yet depleting elements of the music industry, their other hand seems to be under the dirt.

The duality of Taylor Swift fans has got everyone cackling amidst 'The Tortured Poets Department' release. While Swifties are very well known to 'Shake It Up' quite literally, just hours before she dropped a handwritten note dipped in gratitude and love, her fans had made her album the 'most illegally downloaded album' of all time.
Even though the official release was mere hours away, it seems fans could not hold out any longer as the illegal download count reached a whopping 174K downloads at the time of estimation. This goes on to show that there is truly no sea that Swifties are not willing to cross for Taylor Swift.
