Aptly titled, her The Eras Tour garnered much hype, being one of the most successful musical tours in history. Having cemented her position as a timeless artist, the 33-year-old then decided to treat her fans to another project she had taken on, which was to document her journey during the tour.
Now that the initial reviews of the Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour movie are in, it seems like she has managed to cross all expectations yet again. So far, the flick has achieved the rare feat of amassing a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, which only a few movies have managed to do before. Among those are the Arnold Schwarzenegger-led The Terminator. Not to forget the children’s classic, Toy Story.

Not only did the movie pull in stellar reviews, but it also broke records at the box office while doing so. After making a staggering amount in pre-sales, it is estimated that it should easily cross the $1 billion mark like Barbie recently did. Especially with the kind of fanfare and applause it has already received, that has become all the more a possibility. What more could Swifties have asked for if not the continuing ascent of their favorite star?
They took to the comments section of the X (formerly known as Twitter) post to relay their happiness. Most of the comments were celebrating the latest milestone achievement from Swift.

It is safe to say that Swifties can appear at the drop of a hat when the ‘Lover’ singer’s name is called. When she recently appeared at the premiere of the movie, X exploded with adoring comments from Swifties. So, it was a given that when the movie took off and soared to the expected heights, they were bound to reappear in the online ecosphere again. Whether it was the magic of her lucky number ’13’ or simply her star power, the unprecedented success has left her fans awestruck.
One user deemed it a “masterpiece” of a film. According to another, it was set to be the movie of the year.
Some felt that the movie’s success was inevitable. After all, the “Queen” of pop deserved this and so much more.
