The Canadian Prime Minister recently extended a warm welcome for Swift, hinting that Canada is more than ready for her superstar entry.

But that does not mean the party stops right there. Instead, the Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, is ensuring Swift does her final mic-drop with a celebration the Eras Tour is yet to see by taking to X before her Toronto takeover. “We’re ready for you,” Trudeau wrote in one of his latest tweets.

Patting Swift’s back for her choice to conclude the tour with her 9 sold-out shows spanning Toronto and Vancouver, Trudeau also asked whether this had always been her “endgame.” While the songstress may address that on the Eras Tour stage itself, for now, the time has stopped in Canada, and the reason is none other than the Taylor Swift effect that is even making the prime minister put his best foot forward. 

With that, Toronto, Swift’s first stop for her final shows, has already announced plans for a special tribute in her honor.

Canada has been really going all out to greet Taylor Swift and the first to do it all was Toronto, among the final two stops remaining. Instead of transforming into a Swift City, its transportation got a recent makeover to take Swifties into Swift Land. The Eras Tour handle on X reported that Toronto’s UP Express has been redecorated in her honor, now called the “Swiftest Ride.”

With Toronto diving headfirst for Swift, and now with the special message from the Prime Minister of Canada, it may seem even more real for Swifties who are in denial of the tour’s conclusion. However, with Canada pulling out all stops to greet the pop star, this is the perfect chance to catch the Eras stage spectacle before it fades into memory with the ending of 2024.
