Taylor Swift is hell-bent on creating an unforgettable experience for her fans during her Eras Tour. Despite some setbacks along the way, she has set her Eras Tour back in motion, and Swifties have also showered her with love in return. During her recent show in São Paulo, which is a part of her Latin American leg, Taylor Swift surprised the audience with a sequence of back-to-back songs that no one saw coming. 

Taylor Swift, on the second night of the São Paulo concert, first surprised fans with her song ‘Safe & Sound’ released in the year 2011. While fans were trying to process it, she hit them with a banger from her 2011 album ‘Fearless’- ‘Untouchable’. And this was not the only time Swift gave fans a surprise. Even on the first night in São Paulo, she performed two unexpected songs, inviting wild cheers from the audience. 

She first started with the song ‘ Now That We Don’t Talk’ from the album ‘1989’, which is a song she never performed live before. In fact, she herself admitted saying, “I’ve never performed this one live before. Let’s see how I do with it”. She ended the concert with another surprise from her ‘Speak Now’ album, ‘Innocent’. Swift never sang this song live after her 2010 VMA Awards performance. 

The songs drove the audience nuts, not only at the stadium but also on social media, who did not hold back from expressing their delight. 

Taylor Swift surprising fans with her São Paulo surprises

Notably, Swift performed a re-recorded song on ‘Fearless’ called ‘The Best Day’ to surprise her mother. However, she ended up surprising her fans as well while performing it on Mother’s Day, during her three-night Eras Tour run at Philadelphia. Clearly, her fans love the surprises, as is seen in their reaction to these new additions to her set list.

It is not uncommon for fans to get such surprises from the beloved singer. However, it still sweeps them off of their feet every time the pop sensation pulls the trick. 

Many fans expressed their amazement at listening to the surprise songs, as they were some of the underrated favorites of the Swifties. 

Fans also praised the singer’s yellow dress, which she also wore in the earlier shows of her Eras Tour concert. Taylor Swift also sported a bold black ensemble with a leg cut in a recent São Paulo concert while singing the song ‘…Ready For It?’ from her hit album ‘Reputation’. Given such hype around the show, there is no doubt why the São Paulo show became a record-breaking concert for Swift.
