Taylor Swift Did Not Only Dominate ‘The Eras Tour’ Tickets Sales but Also Sold $3.48 Million of These
2023 seems to have been the year of Taylor Swift. From her album re-releases to the success of The Eras Tour, there was nothing she could not do. However, while the pop sensation broke various records with her concert tickets, it was not her only best-selling achievement of the year. Although she had crossed the $1 billion mark with her gross ticket sales, her vinyls also ended up making the list.
Swift may have recently proved that she is one of the world’s favorite artists. However, the 34-year-old also ended up showing that no one could sell vinyl albums quite like her.

Last year was a rather busy year for Taylor Swift. With her taking over the world with her concert, The Eras Tour, everyone expected that to take center stage. However, 3 weeks into the New Year, it looks like the tickets for her show were not the only ones that ended up dominating sales. In a post on X, it was revealed that the pop sensation had sold 3.484 million copies of her vinyl albums in 2023.
While it came as no surprise that she topped the list, she had left everyone else behind her in the dust. The second best seller was Lana Del Rey with around 646k sales. On the list, other artists like Kendrick Lamar, Travis Scott, Olivia Rodrigo, and even The Beatles had also managed to be bestsellers. However, they just could not measure up to the success of the 34-year-old’s vinyl records.
Swift’s sudden vinyl achievement comes just days after she made her way onto another surprising Spotify streaming list for the New Year.
Swift leads Spotify’s most-streamed artist list
Taylor Swift may have been Spotify’s top global artist of last year. However, it looks like she is set to continue her reign this year as well. On January 15th, the streamer chose to put together a list of the most streamed artists of the year so far, and unsurprisingly, the ‘Cruel Summer’ singer ended up on top. While that was another achievement that was added to her cap, fans could not help but notice that her rival, Kanye West, was the last on the list.

Drake, The Weekend, and even Bad Bunny were streamed more than the 46-year-old rapper. With Swift already continuing to replicate her success from last year, there is no saying what could end up happening once she is back for the second leg of her much-awaited tour.
