As of today, Swift’s ‘1989 (Taylor’s Version)’ has successfully maintained its stronghold on the Billboard 200 albums chart for five weeks in total. It remained so for another three days before the album sales were tallied again to see if it continued its streak. By the end of December, the album had garnered nearly a million album sales in the USA alone!

Through this remarkable achievement, Swift has even surpassed her own Billboard records. Previously, her re-recorded albums ‘Fearless’ and ‘Speak Now’ had spent two weeks at the chart summit. Meanwhile, her ‘Red’ album spent one week at the same spot. It seems like the 34-year-old is on a mission to break records left right and center as ‘1989 (Taylor’s Version)’ shows no signs of slowing down.

Through the same album, the ‘Style’ singer has conquered some other records too.
