While there has not been any word from the ‘Lover’ singer on the matter, her upcoming concert helped an Israeli teenager and her mother keep their mind off their struggles. 13-year-old Renana Botzer Swissa told CBS News that her mother, Ilanit, used Swift as a means of distracting her amidst escalating tensions. “She told me to think about the Taylor Swift concert,” she shared.

The mother and the daughter kept their focus away from the potential fatal possibilities by discussing the upcoming Swift concert in Europe. Swissa shared that Swift helped her find a small ray of hope to make it out of the challenging times. Notably, many celebrities have come forward to express their heartfelt condolences for the ongoing conflict. While some took an effort to provide aid to the sufferers in the Middle Eastern countries, others shared resources on social media platforms.

Even Meghan Markle and Prince Harry extended their support to the victims of the conflict through a statement on behalf of their charitable organization. 

Sussexes in support of the sufferers of the Israel-Palestine conflict

The Sussexes have been fierce opposers when it came to standing up to global wrongs. Whether it was calling out the toxic media culture or opening up about the discrimination they faced as a part of the royal family, they always made it a point to articulate their stances. Following the unleashing of such suffering on the other side of the world, the Sussexes came forward to offer their backing to the casualties. The Duke and the Duchess’s Archewell Foundation released a statement on October 11. 

Through the statement, the Sussexes made it clear that they do not stand with any act of “terrorism and brutality”. They also promised to do everything in their power to help the “innocent victims” of the conflict. Apart from the Sussexes, their Montecito neighbor, Jennifer Aniston, also broke her silence on the matter and shared several resources on her social media for the sufferers.
