In a recently surfaced picture, the lovebirds struck a pose with celebs like Brittany and Patrick Mahomes, making the celebration all the more glamorous. After the glitzy bash, the 28-year-old quarterback, Patrick Mahomes, made an appearance in his wife’s Instagram snaps on Monday.

Dressed in a black and white Amiri silk shirt valued at nearly $1K and a backward black trucker cap, Patrick Mahomes was on the top of his game. Meanwhile, his wife opted for a trendy strapless black mini-dress that elegantly reached her mid-thigh. She also crowned herself with a white tiara bearing the words “Happy New Year” and accessorized with silver hoop earrings. However, all eyes were on Taylor Swift, stealing the show in her ethereal silver dress. 

Swift’s ensemble not only served as a nod to her past year, but also dropped a hint about the cards she might play in 2024.

Fan theories sparked by Taylor Swift’s New Year party dress 

According to Taylor Swift Style, a fan-operated fashion blog dedicated to the singer, the dress was likely a creation by Clio Peppiatt. It is the same designer responsible for her birthday outfit- the shimmering black minidress embellished with a crescent moon, stars, and clouds. Swifties were quick to connect the dots, adding to the theory that Swift was laying Easter eggs for her 11th studio album, which may have a lot to do with astrology.

Coupled with previous instances where Swift dropped astrological hints, such as Spotify featuring a star cursor on her tracks, fans speculated that the upcoming album will go by the name “Sagittarius“. Though other astrological titles are also in the rumor mill, the celestial-inspired New Year’s dress acted as the latest spark to this theory.
