It all started in September last year when Taylor Swift graced the stands of Arrowhead Stadium to support Travis Kelce and the Chiefs for the first time. Since then, the 34-year-old’s appearances at her lover’s game days have become more frequent. Ever since their grand romance began, the pop star has not only spent time with the NFL aficionado, but also his family who has grown almost as fond of her as most Swifties.

As it turns out, the Kelce clan’s new affiliation with Swift has impacted their lives to a large extent in both positive and negative ways.

When Ed Kelce spoke to The Fan radio station’s hosts yesterday, one among them asked him how their life is different now. The Kelce family head revealed that there are “eyes” on them “every place” they go and “articles” being written about them. He also felt that a lot more folks “recognize” him and his family now. Apparently, more people greet them at the “grocery store” now than ever.

Although he did not even recognize Swift when he first met her, the popularity she has brought them even caused the Kansas “commissioner” to offer them “box” seats at the Super Bowl! According to him, even the camera cutaways to them at his son’s games have increased due to Swift’s presence or simply because she is indirectly related to them now.

At a Kansas City Chiefs match earlier this week, Jason Kelce and Taylor Swift had both turned up to cheer for the former’s brother. However, a young Swiftie standing around the older Kelce brother only had eyes for the 12-time Gramm winner. Holding a sign addressing the pop sensation, she hoped to catch Swift’s eye when Jason spotted her and lifted her to bring her to her icon. 

Before hoisting her up, he told the child that he wanted Swift to see what she wrote, proving his adoration for his brother’s girlfriend. Not only him but also his wife has exhibited signs of being the 34-year-old’s supporter. While the extent of Swift’s involvement in the Kelce family remains private, it is clear she has embraced her role as an honorary cheerleader and extended family member.
