Last year in December, Taylor Swift etched her spot as the first female solo artist to dominate Billboard’s Vinyl Albums Chart, surpassing Metallica’s 2021 record. Maintaining the same, Swift has continued to maintain this streak as confirmed by Billboard. This makes her the first solo artist in history to dominate the entire Top 5 of the Vinyl Album chart for the second time, as The Swift Society noticed.
The five albums include her iconic ‘1989 (Taylor’s Version)’ on the first spot, followed by ‘Lover’, ‘Evermore’, ‘Folklore,’ and ‘Midnights’ subsequently. Both times, when Swift made her spot on the list, ‘1989 (Taylor’s Version)’ claimed the first spot. This certainly has not come as a surprise, considering the singer has been endlessly breaking records and making new milestones.
Besides this, the Grammy winner has made another achievement with her 1989 (Taylor’s Version) album.

Forbes recently rolled out a report regarding ‘1989 (Taylor’s Version)’ again dominating the Billboard 200. The re-recording has been ruling the charts since its arrival and has been one of the most consumed albums raking up 64,000 equivalent units. For six weeks, the album has been reigning on Billboard and this week became Swift’s fifth longest-running No. 1 album.
It is equal to both ‘Speak Now’ and ‘Midnights’, which also had several successful stints. The singer-turned-producer currently has two albums tied for the most time spent at No. 1. Both the original ‘1989’ and ‘Fearless’ spent 11 weeks at the top of the Billboard 200. Meanwhile, the achievement on Billboard’s Vinyl Albums Chart comes as a cherry on the cake.
