Everyone knows that fans of Taylor Swift, the Swifties, are unabashed in their love for the singer and the fact that they are one of the largest fanbase is just the cherry on top. In fact, they also are more influential than most fandoms out there. The world got to witness just how much they could do if they set their minds to it when the NFL viewership skyrocketed since romance rumors between the ‘Bad Blood’ singer and Travis Kelce surfaced.
After the pop star had wrapped up the first leg of her world tour, however, she surprised her fans with the Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour film. Just two days after the release of the film, the internet was stunned by the behavior of the artist’s supporters. While the record-breaking concert showed people the magical journey of how ‘The Eras Tour’ had come to be, it also brought out the unruly side of her fans. Especially the group that brought their own paper cut Travis Kelce to wave in front of everyone.

From dance circles in the theater, to holding up signs like it was a real concert, Swifties made it hard for other fans to enjoy the show and may have even caused distress for the singer. While the Grammy winner has not shied away from the developments of her relationship, she must not have expected her fans to pull out a cutout of him at her concert film premiere.
Given that the Kelce-Swift phenomenon, has been a star-studded affair, with even elite actress Blake Lively fan-girling over the same, it was no surprise that fans went a bit feral.
Taylor Swift fans leave the Internet unpleased
Even though the film was set to release on October 13th, the 33-year-old surprised her fans by getting the film to release a day early. On social media, she “encouraged” her fans to show up in their Eras costumes, bring their friendship bands, and thoroughly enjoy themselves at the event. While it makes sense that the star wanted her fans to have a good time, they may have taken things a little too far by pulling out a Travis Kelce cut-out.

The reason why the Travis Kelce cut-out has garnered unfavorable fan reactions was because many beleive that this Swift’s time to shine. Given how the mainstream media has in the past used her love interests as a way to slow her pace to the top, this enraged many fans. However, other social media users just found the situation as funny as ever.

While the hype for the film is only set to rise, there is not much of a possibility that Taylor Swift’s fans will be calming down anytime soon. In fact, before the film even released it ended up breaking records for the amount of advance ticket sales it already had. However, even though the fan base may be going a little wild, it does make complete sense as for most, this was their first time getting to watch Taylor Swift, even if it is on the big screen.
