‘Sweet but Psycho’ Singer Ava Max Drops Her Essential Films and Music for Christmas Ahead of Holiday Season

Ava Max, with a voice spun from pop’s fizziest champagne, burst into music by refusing to blend in. Sabrina Carpenter's silent years behind the curtains are a testament to just how difficult it is to break into the industry, and while she needed a pop rebrand, Max needed a jolly Christmas spirit to hit it out of the park.

The songstress who has decided to pull in the holiday season a tad bit early with her track 'One Wish', revealed her picks, music and cinema, during the Christmas season.

Holiday season is one of those times when even the busiest of the bees slow down and take a moment to appreciate art in every form, and while for some this would mean a walk in nature for others, it boils down to music and movies. Fortunately, Ava Max also ushers the festivals in with the right kind of music, which, as she revealed on the Spout Podcast, happened to be 'Snowman' by Sia, Christina Aguilera's Christmas album, 'Merry Christmas' by Mariah Carey.

Not only is Max a big Christmas person in terms of busting out classic Christmas albums from her speakers, but she also has a very top-notch list of movies she watches during the merry holidays. Christmas with the Kranks, and Elf, top her watchlist during the season.

While Ava Max can have a good Christmas owing to her choice of movies being classics, viewers who wait for a fresh Christmas movie to release at the end of the year have Wicked Sing Along as their best bet.

It is going to be a Wicked Christmas

While the year started off with a bang and up until spring movie theaters were as busy as ever, things have started to cool down as Christmas comes to town. Except for Ariana Grande's grand comeback with Wicked, there are no big releases set to fight out the stage during the jolly season. However, that is not to say that it is not going to be a holly jolly Christmas as the Wicked sing-alongs will be gracing theaters on Christmas day.

Apart from the heavy name that is attached to it, the movie has been the talk of the town, unsurprisingly due to the appearance of Ariana Grande. While fans would love for her to marry Jonathan Bailey, it is the circumstances of her boyfriend Ethan Slater that first caused a fire on the sets. Things have died down significantly since then, but fans have their eyes on the road.
