Spotify to Bring a Special Taylor Swift Experience to Asia, After Just 1 Eras Tour Show In the Continent

After turning heads with their iconic partnership through the years, Spotify and Taylor Swift recently sparked a chaotic row online over the sudden vanishing of ‘Reputation’ and her debut records from her page. However, knowing Swift’s penchant for catching her fans off-guard, fans held their horses with bated breath lest the impending re-recorded albums bring answers to their questions. Although those question marks remain unattended, Swift and Spotify have rolled up their sleeves for a special surprise for her Asian fan club. 

Though her Eras Tour already touched every remote pocket of the globe, this Swift-centric experience in Asia follows her solitary eras pit stop.

Taylor Swift and Spotify have partnered on multiple occasions, but even without the whereabouts of her next era, they are going strong on their collaboration streak. As the anticipation reaches a fever pitch for the next big thing on Swift’s coattails, the streaming mogul pulls up with the surprise of the hour. According to Taylor Nation on social media, Spotify is ready to celebrate Swift’s music and career with  Swifties in Jakarta, Manila, and Seoul with an exclusive exhibition, #ThisIsTaylorSwift: A Spotify Playlist Experience.

Pre-registration for tickets starts on January 26, 2025, for Jakarta and Manila at 13.00 while the gates for Seoul’s ticket links open on February 7 at 13.00. Although the artist herself will not be in attendance at the event, it will be free of charge. The exhibition in Jakarta is from February 14-16, making Valentine’s week totally ‘Lover’ coded. Manila and Seoul are set for February 21-23 and February 28-March 2.

While the Swift surprise was enough to excite the fans who were still reeling from the emotional baggage left by the Eras Tour’s curtain call, this was not the only surprise her team dropped out of the blue.

Taylor Swift is never tired of leaving her fans jaw-dropped, and for the festive hours of the official Cupid day, the Eras Tour artist left no Valentine’s leaf unturned. The songstress surprised Swifties on Thursday, dropping a limited-edition ‘Lover’ cardigan on her web store. Taylor Nation, Swift’s management team, shared a clip of the white V-neck buttoned-up sweater featuring pink hearts and details on Instagram.

“The secret to being someone’s lover forever and ever? Surprise them with a #LoverCardigan!” Taylor Nation captioned the post. The cardigan is inspired by her 2019 album, ‘Lover,’ and it comes with a stock limit, meaning it will be available for 72 hours or until the supplies last. The drop comes hot on the heels of the bombastic records set by ‘Lover (Live from Paris),’ reminding the era of love is steadily attempting a Swift-coded renaissance.
