Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, and Snoop Dogg, top rappers in the industry, have always held clashing schools of thought- from political views to brainwashing allegations, there has been little that they might have seen eye-to-eye on. While Ye had managed to remain steady on his feet, no matter how against the current his opinions may have been, Snoop Dogg, on the other hand, might have a little sailing across sides that he may have done.
In a video post by Curtis Basheer on X, which was then reposted by an Instagram handle, Snoop Dogg slid into Ye's DM, praising the rapper. He said, “Talk ya sh--- Newfew cuz u damn sho backing it up”, he says, with a bunch of emojis as proof of his agreement with Ye. Contrary to how Ye's fans called Dogg out recently for performing at President Donald Trump's inauguration, this is nothing but jarring that made fans call Dogg nothing but a "sellout."

In the video, Ye expressed how “It is Yeezy over everything”, standing for himself against the people letting him know that he is up against the fashion world, but as always, the rapper stands strong, being backed up by not only his fans but also, by a surprising new supported in Dogg.
While there is seems no ill intent in Dogg's actions, fans all over X find it fishy, calling him out for the same.
Snoop Dogg appreciating Ye does not sit well with fans
What fans might be the most loving of amongst Ye’s plethora of qualities is how he stays true to himself and his own. Snoop Dogg, however, shows the fanbase a different side of the greater picture. “Survival tactics”, a Ye fan, ever so generously says in reflection of the latter’s go-with-the-flow nature of being. Dogg has had a history of paying his respects to the most popular acts by working with them, through his years in the industry, which might just make him a potential omnipresent legend.
While some fans seem to be actively defensive of their favorite, and rightfully so, there are also some fans that look forward to this new bond being formed.
