It did not take long for headlines to sparkle with speculation about a romance brewing between the pop sensation and an NFL player, Travis Kelce. Though it took some time for fans to digest the unexpected pairing, they soon became obsessed with it.

Amid all the hoopla and gossip, nobody really knew what was going on in the mind of the athlete who still struggle to come to terms with the fact that he is dating Taylor Swift. Well, until now. 

Kansas City Chiefs' long snapper, James Winchester, recently shed light on Travis Kelce's adorable reaction to Taylor Swift dropping by her first game at Arrowhead Stadium, on an episode of the Like a Farmer Podcast. Winchester remembered catching wind of rumors that the pop star might make an appearance at the game after talking of her romance with the tight end spread online. Upon spotting Swift, he strolled over to Kelce on the sideline during the game and pointed out the songstress. And that is when Kelce started "smiling and blushing" like a schoolboy. 

Winchester also looked back on his first run-in with Taylor Swift later that night. When they bumped into each other, the first thing the 'Cruel Summer' singer asked was, "Are you that guy with the cute kids?" Winchester remembered having his little ones out on the field during the game that day, and Swift's sweet comment made him think, "I think I just became a T Swift fan". But Winchester is not the only Chiefs member who has fallen under the pop star's charm.

At the NFL Scouting Combine, Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid shared with Mike Florio and Chris Simms how Taylor Swift had gone above and beyond by baking homemade treats for the team's offensive linemen. Apparently, the pop star whipped up a batch of homemade Pop-Tarts for the line and won over the entire team in no time. 

Another Chiefs defensive backs coach, Dave Merritt, gave Swift a shoutout earlier this year for bringing some sunshine to the team. He explained on a show called The Sports Shop that seeing Kelce happy because of Swift also made him and the team feel good. With her positive impact on the Chiefs, it is no wonder why James Winchester became a fan of hers too.
