It has been more than a decade since the feud between Kanye West, and Taylor Swift began. Both moved on from their careers since then, but the discussion of their Grammy continues to this day. Minting on that conversation is not the media, but the artists themselves who chuckle over it. Most recently, it was the Eras Tour leader that resurfaced memories of their controversy.

Her ‘Speak Now’ album tells the tale of her overcoming challenges, including the public humiliation that she faced at the hands of the ‘Famous’ singer back in 2009. The last performance for her Eras Tour, however, flashed her feud mid-way, leaving her in splits.

A lot of stories have been popping up since Taylor Swift began her Eras World Tour. From breakups to new links, fans have had ample content to discuss. But the latest one is a rather lighthearted sprinkle over a serious incident. During the tour’s Seattle stop, the singer did her ‘This is Why We Can’t Have Nice Things’ number. The song was always speculated to be a dig at her feud with Kanye West and his former wife, Kim Kardashian.

The lyrics of which go, “Here’s to you, cuz forgiveness is a nice thing to do“. The artist confessed to struggling with finishing the sentence, hinting at how it reminded her of her beef with Ye. The crowd cheered as she struggle to keep a straight face, before completing its lyrics. This track was from her 2017 album ‘Reputation’.

The feud was certainly not a one-way problem. Even after apologizing for grabbing the mike from her, West dissed her on his own track.

Kanye West made the track ‘Famous’ in 2016 for his album ‘Life of Pablo‘. The controversial video and lyrics quickly grabbed the attention of Swifties. Former wife Kim Kardashian also seemingly supported the song which referred to the ‘Shake It Off’ singer as “that b—ch” and called her a snake.

The next year, the Swift singer used snakes during the release of her ‘Reputation’ album to clap back at these two. Needless to say, the VMA incident has given birth to a lifelong rivalry that refuses to die.
