Selena Gomez stole the spotlight in a strapless sheer and purple dress by Oscar de la Renta, which had 450,000 sequins intricately arranged to reveal a hint of skin.

The Rare Beauty founder completed the look with purple heels. She accessorized her look with a silver Tiffany & Co. bird-shaped necklace featuring diamonds, pink sapphires, and a huge 35-carat morganite stone. Besides the necklace, the 31-year-old flaunted various diamond rings from the brand, including a matching one with an eight-carat morganite stone surrounded by diamonds. She made sure to put up a beaming smile adorned with bold purple lipstick.

Meanwhile, Benny Blanco showcased his fashion finesse with a choice of grey pants, a black shirt, and a sophisticated long black overcoat. The duo made a striking pair as they strolled side by side, making their entrance at the Emmys. However, the music producer opted not to walk the red carpet, letting his partner take the spotlight alone.

Gomez’s Emmys outfit contrasted with her look at the Globes, where she donned a red halter gown by Armani Privé with rosette details. However, her outfit was one of the last things on people’s minds at the event. Gomez also cleared the air on the speculation about her conversation with Swift in the comments of an E! News Instagram post, saying, “Nooooo, I just filled Taylor in on two friends who hit it off. Not that it’s anyone’s business“. Meanwhile, a TMZ photographer caught Timothée Chalamet in a viral video, asking about the incident, and the actor reassured that there was no drama between Selena Gomez and Kylie Jenner. That said, it remains to be seen what drama the Emmys might bring for Selena Gomez.
