After minting a little more than a billion, turning the stadiums worldwide into her home turf, and redefining concerts, Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour is finally drawing to a close. Unlike the tours the world has witnessed, Swift’s is a music-meets-fashion retrospective of all her eleven eras, each defined by one of her studio albums from almost two decades spanning her career. However, before the Eras Tour calls it quits, Swift is taking over New York City in a fashion spell like never before, and readying the Swifties for the twelfth era in the making.

According to Page Six, Taylor Swift was recently in New York with Zoë Kravitz and comedian Jerrod Carmichael on Friday for a dinner at the new private members’ club Chez Margaux in the Meatpacking District in Manhattan. The Grammy-winner stunned the onlookers in a surreal Vivienne Westwood corset dress with blue, yellow, and red hues, paired with burgundy velvet Aquazurra Twist 95 sandals. While the label screams ‘The Tortured Poets Department,’ Swifties are armed to the teeth for the era after.

For a change of pace, Taylor Swift wore her hair back in a bun, with curly tresses flowing all over her face as she channeled her signature red lips. While Swift’s fashionable drift turned many heads, a good deal even saw the switch as detrimental to a slow transition to her next era. Although two more stops remain with the pop star preparing for a Canada takeover before the end of the year, Swift’s closet shifts are secretly over-preparing her audience for what is to come next.

Consequently, while some Swifties remain busy trying to make the most of the last of the Eras Tour, others are way ahead of that game.

Taylor Swift’s fashionable NYC outing has Swifties locked and loaded for the forthcoming era

Taylor Swift may be one of the biggest visionaries of the music industry, but her fans are no less, having learnt from the best. Hence, when Swift thinks ahead of the rest, she considers Swifties to remain on her tangent. This is probably why any Easter egg by the pop star is decoded the very minute a Swiftie steps in, and with her NYC takeover on Friday, they look entirely “seated for TS12.”

Although the fashion house she evoked translates Swift’s ongoing era, having leaned on Vivienne Westwood throughout the Eras Tour for ‘The Tortured Poets Department,’ Swifties see more to the couture nod than meets most of the eye.

In fact, if Swifties see more to a Swift code, it is as good as a stamp of approval from the pop princess herself. Thus, although not much may be revealed before Swift braves through the emotional rollercoaster of her last two Eras stops, the Swiftie pointers are here to help the versed and the blind alike.
