Taylor Swift may have taken the shots of ‘Espresso’ during her New Orleans Eras Tour. But word on the street is she may have to take a few more because Sabrina Carpenter is readily turning all her peers into night owls with her epic rise to fame. Despite her slower recognition within the musical arena as opposed to the rest, Carpenter’s resilience in making it to the top has officially catapulted her into the big league of stars, way beyond the symphonic confinement.
With the political clouds overtaking Stateside, a good deal may assume the Taylor Swift effect had been stirring the biggest impact, but Carpenter is here to set that record straight with her single greatest effort.

According to a recent report by Variety, the ‘Short n’ Sweet’ pop star, Sabrina Carpenter has officially registered more voters than any other artist for the 2024 presidential elections during her globetrotting tour. The ‘Espresso’ singer reportedly prompted 35,814 voters to register because of her partnership with HeadCount. 263,087 voters engaged beyond registration through registration status and polling location with giveaways, in-person activations, mailers, and video boards used throughout her tours.
The executive director of HeadCount, Lucille Wenegieme said in a statement that their partnerships with over 100 music artists including Carpenter, Ariana Grande, Green Day, and more, have helped register over 450,000 new voters, prompting more than 3 million more to ensure they vote. And if these moves were not enough, Carpenter’s partnership further included a reward program, giving winners the opportunity to see her tour by checking their voting registration status, who will be flown out to San Francisco for her November 9 show.
Carpenter was already strutting her stuff with chart-topping hits and sold-out tours. Now, with her political activism, she has gained an edge over Taylor Swift, even with Swift’s earlier impact.

Despite trying to steer clear of US politics this year, when Taylor Swift was drawn again and again to the conversation with fake endorsements and AI misuse, she finally made her support for Kamala Harris, known on Instagram. Alongside her endorsement, Swift added a voter registration link that reportedly led to a surge of 400,000 visitors to Vote.gov within a day of sharing it. The site experienced a tenfold increase in traffic compared to the previous week.
27,000 new registrations were reportedly made the next day with over 80,000 people checking their voter registration status. While at the time it may have felt like Swift was alone in that magnanimity of influence to sway voters’ opinion, statistics now say a different story with Sabrina Carpenter’s political recharge.
