Kanye West has gained a reputation for his never-ending delays and extensive backlog of unreleased albums and songs. He obviously places great importance on music, but there are many ideas that never got off the ground. This habit of the rapper has only grown stronger in recent years and despite promising collaborations and fixing release dates, it gets blown in the end. However, it seems one of those songs that never saw the light of the day would make its way to fans.

Ye’s collaborator Ronny J recently hinted at the drop of this unreleased track that features West’s collaborator Ty Dolla $ign along with Nicki Minaj.

Ronny J suggests the release of unreleased Kanye West song 

Ronny J joined the online streamer Adin Ross during his latest livestream with fans. During this session, the streamer had a slip-of-the-tongue moment. In the video shared on social media showed him saying ‘New Body’ “is supposed to drop” while the record producer tried to hush him. “Oh, I can’t speak on that,” realized the 23-year-old, but when another person asked, Ronny laughed and gave a nod to it.

The Florida native continued this made sense because Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign were already working on their new album. This song ‘New Body’ was originally intended to be featured on the unreleased album ‘Yandhi’. However, the revised edition of the song later got previewed at listening events for ‘Jesus Is King’. But when the song leaked and became viral on TikTok, Nicki Minaj thought to reach out to the former billionaire to still release the same.

With the release eventually not happening due to alleged “creative differences,” both rappers got into a beef for not releasing their joint song.

New Body started the riff between Nicki Minaj and Ye 

Kanye West joined hands with Nicki Minaj to create the song ‘New Body’ in 2019. However, the release date came and went and it never saw the dawn. This decision of the Grammy winner disappointed the ‘Queen’ rapper, who wanted the track to go out officially. In her interview with Hot 106, she addressed this collaboration, saying he made her write the verse four times and still did not release it.

According to her, the song would have gone out if the West was not in his gospel era. “But it didn’t, so it wasn’t meant to be. Everybody knows that was the hit that got away,” added the 40-year-old. Now, after years of all those chaotic moments between the two, Ronny J, who produced this song, has given hope to fans. However, whether the song will see the light this time is yet to be known.
