However, it was only in 2011 that their masterpiece, collaborative album ‘Watch the Throne’ took the music world by storm and solidified their status as artistic visionaries and innovators.

The album’s conception began in 2010 when the two artists embarked on a series of recording sessions in various locations, including Paris and New York. The combination of their creative energies, distinctive styles, and lyrical prowess laid the foundation for an album that would transcend expectations. So much so that even after a decade and two years later, it rules the hearts of pop enthusiasts.

And the testament lies in the fact that it recently became the most streamed collaborative album ever on Spotify. It has a total of whopping 2.4 billion streams on the music streaming service, taking over the earlier album, ‘Drip Hard’.
