A recent snap from devoted Ye scoop shop, GoodAssSub, offered a rare glimpse into the rapper's studio. The picture spotted Ye's Nintendo Switch amidst an array of his interests, revealing his current pursuits. A book called Vanessa Beecroft: Performances 1993-2003 also lay nearby, hinting at a much more relaxed, productive, and definitely non-probatic atmosphere for the rapper.

Ye's enthusiasm for gaming is well known, and in 2020, he attempted to collaborate with Nintendo on a video game project. The rapper and the then-presidential candidate pitched his idea to the gaming giant, but it was ultimately rebuffed. Former Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime personally handled the rejection.

Reggie Fils-Aime "politely declined" the rapper's proposal, bringing an end to the potential partnership. Although details of West's idea remain unclear, the rejection did not dampen his gaming passion. Ye continues to showcase his love for Nintendo, like in the recent snap, playing Nintendo Switch at his workplace in his studio. His further gaming ambitions, however, remain unknown.
