Ye's enthusiasm for gaming is well known, and in 2020, he attempted to collaborate with Nintendo on a video game project. The rapper and the then-presidential candidate pitched his idea to the gaming giant, but it was ultimately rebuffed. Former Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime personally handled the rejection.
Reggie Fils-Aime "politely declined" the rapper's proposal, bringing an end to the potential partnership. Although details of West's idea remain unclear, the rejection did not dampen his gaming passion. Ye continues to showcase his love for Nintendo, like in the recent snap, playing Nintendo Switch at his workplace in his studio. His further gaming ambitions, however, remain unknown.
