Among them is her ‘1989’ album which once served as a dazzling time capsule that transported listeners back to a bygone era. Amidst the retro-pop symphony of ‘1989’, there was one special track that was believed to be an ode to her failed relationship with Harry Styles. Through ’Is It Over Now?‘, the ‘Style’ singer spoke about the unabashed details of the heartbreak she had suffered. Now, the singer’s own version of it has resurfaced and won over the hearts of her audience once again as it climbs to the first position of Spotify’s global streaming charts as shared through a post on X (previously Twitter).

Recently, Swift’s re-released album’s tracks have only had to compete with each other to retain the 33-year-old’s reign over Spotify’s most streamed tracks. Even now, the five highest-ranked songs on Spotify’s global chart are Swift’s. Besides ‘Is It Over Now?’, her ‘Say Don’t Go’ and ‘Now That We Don’t Talk’ are also placed in the top five. These victories were made all the more special because of the fact that they carry ‘Taylor’s version’ next to their names.
