The internet is set to feel the wrath of the Swifties. Just days ago, social media was taken over by AI-generated images of Taylor Swift at a Kansas City Chiefs game. While it may have initially started as a joke, it ended up spiraling into something much bigger. What started as cute, flirty pictures of the 34-year-old soon ended up turning into sexual NSFW videos.

On Wednesday night, social media got a new trending hashtag. It was ‘Taylor Swift AI’. While it quickly took over the internet as most of her fans were hoping for more Kansas City Chiefs merchandise or even AI-generated wedding pictures, that was not what they got. Instead of the usual cute images, the singer’s fans were met with some rather inappropriate and disturbing content.

While Swift did not do much to acknowledge these vulgar posts, her fanbase blew their top. Apart from being grossed out by the online world, they were also outraged by how casual people were about it. Some social media users seemed to find the AI pictures to be hilarious and reshared the humiliating deep fakes, which only enraged fans more.

Although there was not much the Swifties could do about the pictures, they managed to find a way to band together and “PROTECT TAYLOR SWIFT.”

The Swifties have proved that they would do anything to save Taylor Swift. After the AI-generated images of the singer made their way online, her fans made it their mission to bury the inappropriate content. They chose to do it by not only posting irrelevant content under the trending tag, but also ended up giving the creators of the images a piece of their minds.

Some Swifties chose to combat the AI-generated pictures with long captions shunning the images and the people behind them. However, other fans of the ‘Cruel Summer’ singer chose to have some fun with it.

Although Taylor Swift has not publicly commented on the AI trend going around, her fans have got her back. Apart from just protecting the singer from the depraved world of social media, they also managed to get the account that had initially posted the clip suspended from the app. While that might be a small victory in the larger scheme of things, there is no doubt that the Swifties can do anything they set their minds to.
