Just as fans were beginning to celebrate the sun finally shining on the revered music band, Linkin Park, clouds darker than the dead of the night itself have come to thunder at it once again. After nearly seven years of the group's last joint act with 'One More Light' which was followed by the tragic death of its lead vocalist Chester Bennington, the band recruited Emily Armstrong as the new co-vocalist. However, the apple could not have fallen any farther from the tree as Armstrong's past comes to light.

In the already tragic music symphony that Linkin Park has been belting out, the strong allegations against Emily Armstrong, as highlighted by popular music critic Anthony Fantano, are far from a harmonious addition and a more discordant note.

For the music realm, which has been served up to the brim this year with nearly every artist making a comeback, with some being 'Short n' Sweet' while the others awakening 'The Tortured Poets Department', the Linkin Park comeback could not have been more of a silver lining. However, somehow the most awaited comeback has garnered a severe backlash owing to the choice of the new co-vocalist. As pointed out by many and most notably, Anthony Fantano, Emily Armstrong has strong ties with Scientology and was publicly in support of the accused --pist, Danny Masterson.

As Fantono shed light on the matter, Emily Armstrong's involvement with both the Scientology cult and Danny Masterson became too obvious to ignore, especially as Cedric Bixler came into the picture. Cedrick Bixler, former Scientologist, whose wife has taken up a --xual assault case to court against Masterson, has directly accused Armstrong of her support of the accused, both in and out of court.

While Emily Armstrong and her Scientology ties have turned what should have been a triumphant crescendo into a discordant cacophony for Linkin Park, she is not the biggest name to be associated with the same.

While matters have been fairly subdued now, the Church of Scientology was all the rage a few years ago. However, with more carnival allegations having surfaced, any association with the name warrants an immediate send-off to the red list. This is why it becomes shocking when Hollywood's highest-paid actor and arguably one of the biggest names in the industry, Tom Cruise, has allegedly held strong ties with Scientology.

The lore of Tom Cruise being a high-ranking official in the Scientology Church is one that engulfed all of Hollywood once upon a time, with the actor having claimed that it even helped him with his dyslexia. However, as Scientology transcended into more controversial affairs, through concealed marketing strategies, Tom Cruise and his alleged ties with Scientology have remained under the table. Unfortunately, Emily Armstrong cannot say the same with all the receipts on the Internet.
