GoodAssSub recently posted a screenshot on X revealing that the label responsible for Playboi Carti's upcoming album, tentatively titled ‘Music’ or ‘I Am Music’ has aimed for a September 13 release date, coinciding with Carti’s birthday. The label has reportedly even paid fan pages to promote the album likewise. However, there has been little recent activity from the label regarding this release. Despite this, fans trust the source because of its history of reliable insider information about Ye (formerly Kanye West).

Soon after, the new album, set to be released through Interscope Records, AWGE, and Opium, was teased with pictures of Carti wearing a Penny Hardaway jersey featuring the number 1. A few weeks prior, Carti had posted a photo on his Instagram story wearing an Iverson jersey with the number 3. Following the label's teaser, fans quickly connected the dots, believing that the album is indeed scheduled for release on September 13.
Despite the delays, fans did get a taste of his music with the release of his single ‘2024’ in December. However, the speculation around the release date of his upcoming album has fans on edge for now.
