Pharrell Williams Wins Over Fans As He Acknowledges Kanye West as The ‘Louis Vuitton Don’ in Paris
LV-monogrammed Speedy bags and pixelated camouflage took center stage at illuminated Pont Neuf. Pharrell Williams debuted his first Louis Vuitton menswear collection, succeeding Virgil Abloh as the men’s creative director of the fashion house. However, even though Paris’s oldest bridge basked in his glory, he would reject being called the Louis Vuitton Don, stating, “Louis Vuitton Don is one great Kanye West. Period.”
For those who may need to brush up on their memory, “Louis Vuitton Don” is a moniker West molded for himself in his early discography. Ye would plainly refer to himself as “Kan, the Louis Vuitton Don,” in his first album, ‘College Dropout.’ Ever since the music and the media industry has often referred to the Donda Academy owner by this nickname. Furthermore, almost half a decade later, the fashion designer also released a range of men’s sneakers, named, “Louis Vuitton Don,” in collaboration with the fashion house.

As soon as Ye fanatics came across this footage, they took no time to appreciate the new men’s fashion director and agree with him that none can take away that name from Kanye West
