1 Million in 13 Minutes? Taylor Swift Charts an Uncanny Record With This Music Video Amidst Eras Tour Shows in London
Taylor Swift has well surpassed the era where she would try and fail to give a winning speech on a music award show, especially one that has to do anything with a music video. With All Too Well: The Short Film, the chanteuse not only sang but steered the ship, proving that her directorial hand is as steady as her vocal cords are powerful. While their brilliance has been proven time and again with the awards, the extent of their demand only came into view recently.
Given the standard that she has set, Swift cherry picks the tracks that can have music videos and for her latest record-breaking album 'The Tortured Poets Department', not many did until now. As she dropped a music video for one of the top tracks from her latest album, it was clear that for Swift, it was not just about a song that sings, but also one that demands to be seen.

Grammy-winning singer Taylor Swift, as evidenced by the millions attending her concerts, either through hard-earned money at a lemonade stand or through their latest blockbuster, is focused on her Eras Tour. But what's a singer who cannot string up more than one string, and Swift swiftly proved that she could as she dropped the music video of 'I Can Do It With a Broken Heart'. The pièce de résistance, however, was the video racking up over a million views in a mere 13 minutes, setting a new milestone for Swift herself.
The recent achievement of the singer's music video proves that while some hearts may have been broken, clearly her records are not. Swift has previously also managed to leave spectators gobsmacked as she surpassed 1 million views with 'Me!' immediately on release. The music video was a collaboration with Brendon Urie and also had the upper hand as it was live-streamed.
'The Tortured Poets Department' came with a 'Fortnight' music video, featuring a collaboration with Post Malone. However, 'I Can Do It With a Broken Heart' did not need to sweat a drop in order to become the fastest music video to reach one million this year.

Taylor Swift's music videos are high on production and finesse. Each one from 'Bad Blood' to Style' is a proof of the same. Therefore, it is surprising how a music video that did not feature any of Taylor Swift's trademark direction or phenomenal actors and dreamy sets went on to become the Dark Knight of the Year. The 'I Can Do It With a Broken Heart' is an amalgamation of behind-the-scenes moments of the Eras Tour.
The track had previously been much discussed, as it was speculated to be about her long-time partner Joe Alwyn, and their breakup. However, as it soars beyond the 1 million viewership mark, curtsy of some wholesome behind-the-scenes clip of the Eras Tour, it becomes clear whether the silver lining lies in Taylor Swift herself, high production, director's cut, or not.
