Around September 2023, Taylor Swift first appeared for Travis Kelce and the Chiefs. Ever since her being on any match day fanned rampant attention, which some criticized as being more than necessary, with the Super Bowl being no exception. Yet, it turns out, that the singer appeared only for 53 seconds during the entirety of the big game, accounting for less than 0.5% of screen time. Additionally, her presence boosted viewership among a relatively untapped audience for the NFL.

Standing as one of America’s most influential women, Taylor Swift at the Super Bowl brought in an increase of more than 11% in viewership for female audiences in the age bracket of 12-17. Additionally, the same target group in the ages of 18-24 shot up by 24% than in the previous year. Moreover, female viewership accounted for 47.5% of the entire 2024 Super Bowl coverage, an arena of audience, most likely receiving a boost from Taylor Swift. Finally, the numbers also fell in line with Adele’s backing of the same.
