It is no secret that Ye, aka Kanye West, played a major role in Travis Scott’s rise. The more they teamed up, the stronger their bond grew. Scott, who never misses a chance to show off his ties with Ye, has often wowed his crowds by bringing his mentor on stage. As the 33-year-old unveiled his new show at MetLife Stadium as part of the Circus Maximus tour, fans were holding out hope that Ye might once again make a surprise appearance. But, to their disappointment, that did not happen.

Still, Scott honored Ye with a heartfelt gesture, keeping his mentor's spirit alive at the show.

Travis Scott recently gave his New Jersey fans a night to remember. The rapper performed a one-night-only performance at MetLife Stadium. In videos that have surfaced from the show, Scott was seen doing a cover of a Ye track, ‘Praise God’ from the ‘Donda’ album- which also featured vocals from Scott and Baby Keem. However, this was not the first time Scott performed this track on his Circus Maximus Tour.

Scott took the stage at the Kaseya Center in Miami, performing ‘Praise God’ as part of the second leg of the Circus Maximus Tour. He also featured it on his Utopia Tour. Recently, in another viral clip, Scott was spotted vibing to another Ye song at MetLife Stadium. Despite the ‘Trance’ rapper's nods, Ye might not have the time to attend his protégé’s concert, as he has been busy working on new music.

The last time Ye performed in China was all the way back in 2008. After 16 years, he made his return to the country with a 'Vultures' show and revealed that he has new music on the way. At the listening party in China, towards the end of his performance, Ye teased that his fans could soon expect a new album. “I got a new album coming out” said the rapper.

Ye shared that the album is called ‘Bully,’ and the song he debuted is titled ‘Beauty and the Beast.' Meanwhile, his ex-collaborator Mike Dean suggested that 'Beauty and the Beast' was a "Donda leftover," inviting some heated backlash. In addition to the 'Bully' announcement and song premiere, Ye also unveiled what fans are calling a finished version with a second verse of ‘530,’ a track included on 'Vultures 2'.
