Months After Taylor Lautner’s Comment About His Stance in the Infamous Kanye West and Taylor Swift Incident, His Sister Confesses Her Love for the Singer
Taylor Lautner may have long moved on from Taylor Swift, but his sister has not. The Twilight hero and the ‘Love Story’ singer made rounds when the two began dating each other back in 2009. Apart from sharing a common first name, the couple was adored for being two trending figures together. He even witnessed her win an award at the VMAs for the best female video back then.
Today, the two are no longer together but certainly share a mutual respect for each other. Although it was not just Lautner that liked her, the fondness extended to the whole of his family. And it seems that some members of the family are still Swiftie at heart.

Taylor Swift recently broke many hearts with the news of her split with British boyfriend Joe Alwyn. But her dating history with Taylor Lautner still remains one of the most talked about. His sister Makena Moore posted a TikTok confessing her love for Swift. She explained how people ask her why she has her brother’s ex-girlfriend’s (Taylor Swift) signed CD. The CD is apparently framed and used as decor, visible in the video as well, and proof of her being a Swiftie, even after Swift and her brother’s break-up.
Lautner and Swift first sparked relationship rumors upon meeting on the sets of Valentine’s Day. This was her acting debut, with them playing a couple in a romantic movie as well. Although he was apparently more into her than she was into him, the couple eventually broke up. Considering how she takes song inspiration from her dating life, ‘Back to December’ and ‘Speak Now’ were apparently about Taylor Lautner.
Eventually, the two returned to being friends. Swift began dating Alwyn while Lautner married Taylor Dome. But despite their breakup, he still has regrets about the infamous VMA night.

The first time that Kanye West created controversy was on the VMA night. He took the mic from a young Taylor Swift who was giving her acceptance speech and announced how Beyonce deserved to win the Best Music Award instead.
Watching it all from backstage was Taylor Lautner, who had presented the award. He did not realize what had happened until he saw Swift turn around and cry. Even today, the memory of it stays fresh for the actor and he wishes to undo the same.
