Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, despite having revived his career considerably from the drastic fall it has concurred in the past few years. The artist has had a difficult time, to say the least, since the debacle that unfolded after his 'White Lives' Matter' t-shirt controversy.

Since the rapper made a return to the spotlight, the two things that have surprisingly managed to remain consistent are album delays and legal troubles. The latter seems to have gotten worse as In Touch Weekly reported that Brian Brumfield filed a motion to be relieved as his attorney as the rapper reportedly failed to pay him on time.
Brumfield shared that not only did Ye not pay him but also refused to speak with him, to make matters more difficult. Brian Brumfield was to represent Ye in matters concerning Justin Poplawski, who accused the rapper of having assaulted him when he asked for an autograph. Ye losing his attorney after already having lost a monumental case that would have helped his cause to reclaim his brand is just salt in fresh wounds.
Now, even if fans wanted to believe that the rapper was out rebuilding his brand while he was constantly delaying his albums, they could not, as the status of his legal battles states otherwise.

That Ye has fallen from grace is evident in the way his once reigning name does not appear at all on the billionaire list. However, just how bad his money problem is can only be grasped by the state of his legal battles. While Yeezy website shut down out of nowhere just like that, not long before his attorney filed for an out, the rapper had also lost exclusive rights to the name of YEWS, his news platform.
While it is doubtful that Ye had much attachment to his news platform given that it was pretty much left for abandon, its loss marks another battle lost for the Chicago rapper. This further takes away the chances of him getting back his once billion-dollar brand.
