The 30-year-old record executive has collaborated with the ‘Donda’ singer in the past as well. Both artists worked together on songs like ‘Father Stretch My Hands’ and ‘I Won’. Given the artistic synergy between both the creators, fans were over the moon with excitement and anticipation of the album. However, this recent move by the ‘Jumpman’ creator cast a shadow over their enthusiasm.

Is Metro Boomin pulling the post a sign of cancellation for Kanye West’s album?
On Wednesday, Metro Boomin tweeted “¥$¥$¥$” on X, which reportedly could be the name of Kanye West and $ign’s next album. However, shortly after sharing the tweet, he deleted it from the platform. This movement caught the attention of Ye’s verified X fan page, Donda Times, who shared the deleted tweet with a caption saying, “Metro Boomin has deleted his tweet about ¥$”. As soon as the post surfaced, fans started to flood the platform with their questions.
Some fans also felt that Ye and Metro Boomin had a fallout amidst the production. They asked if Boomin did something to tick the ‘Graduation’ rapper off.
A few fans had a hunch that something was not right with the upcoming project. And some assumed that the album is no longer in the works.
