It took nearly three decades to find some threads for the murder case of Tupac Shakur. His untimely death has remained surrounded by conspiracy theories and extensive investigation. The iconic rapper was only 25 when he got fatally shot after attending a boxing match on the Las Vegas Strip. But the unresolved case has been reopened with the arrest of long-time suspect Duane “Keffe D” Davis. Amid this breakthrough in the musician’s case, ATL Jacob has left the internet gasping with Kanye West comparisons.

The hip hop record producer ATL Jacob recently dropped a tweet on X, formerly Twitter. In the post, he expressed his admiration for Ye, who has been making headlines lately with new album leaks. “Kanye West has done more for HipHop than Tupac .. facts,” the 24-year-old wrote. The producer feels the former billionaire has had more impact on hip-hop culture than the ‘Hit Em Up’ singer.

Jacob might believe this because he has worked with the 46-year-old on ‘Donda 2.’ The unfinished album was exclusively released on the Stem Player in 2022. This statement from the young producer came almost one year after he claimed that Ye had not paid him for album production. He worked on about 3- 5 tracks including ‘Pablo’, ‘Louie Bags’, ‘Fire Burning’. However, he was never upset about not being compensated for his contribution.

As for now, his new mention of the rapper on social media has caused a stir among hip-hop fans. And it seems most of them do not agree with what he has to say about both the musicians.

Fans disagree that Kanye West is better than Tupac Shakur

Seeing this post of ATL Jacob, many fans took to the comment section to give two cents about Kanye West being better than one of the greatest rappers. Fans believe that the contribution of 2Pac is unquestionable because he died at a young age and people could not see his creative talents more. They do not think it was right to compare these two, as they belong to totally different times. Internet users are taking sides with the American singer.

Fans were annoyed as to how he could compare the singer who was cheated by life while Ye still lives and has opportunities to explore.

Well, it is undeniable that Tupac Shakur left a forever legacy after him. Years later after his death, people still consider him one of the most influential and successful rappers of all time. In fact, this year he was awarded a posthumous star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Not to mention, in 2017 Rolling Stones gave him a seat among the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time.
