While most of the rumors and hints about his upcoming album were coming from various fan pages and sources, there is something new that stems right from Ye himself.

Days after leaks and snippets, Kanye West files trademark request

Barely a day ago, a few of the ‘Donda’ singer’s unreleased songs made their way to the Internet. Again, all of it came just days after a snippet of the rapper previewing a verse of his new song had surfaced. Now, it has come to the fore that Kanye West has filed 26 new trademark applications for the term, “YEWS”. While it is unclear if it was for an upcoming album, it certainly pointed to a new business venture. Either way, the term had the fandom scratching their heads.

In line with his recent drops and the many signs of an imminent album drop, the latest application left fans wondering as to where exactly is the rapper headed. Moreover, the US Patent and Trademark Office request mentions the word to be associated with an apparel brand. Filed on 2nd October, it looks to be another sub-brand of Ye, or maybe him trying to replace Yeezy altogether.

This is not the only jar of honey that Ye has dipped his fingers at once. All signs are pointing out that something ‘big’ is to come.

Amidst collaboration rumors, Ty Dolla $ign clears out his Instagram profile

It is no secret that Ty Dolla $ign is all set to be a participant in Kanye West’s comeback. The rapper was seen alongside West in the recently leaked snippet preview from Ye’s private listening party. Moreover, the rapper had recently posted a video of Kanye West getting a pedicure. However, the singer has just amped the hype up or rather sent the fans into even more head-scratching.

In an unexplained move, the rapper recently cleared out his entire Instagram profile, sparing the Ye video. Yet, that too was erased soon after and it is now a blank profile. The West fandom believes that it is all in preparation to make way for a grand announcement of his and West’s collaboration. Rather, as of now, it looks like Kanye West is working on two albums at once – a collaboration and a solo. However, only time shall tell what exactly West is planning in his head.
