Kanye West is giving his fandoms a hard time to decode his plans. From dropping random bits and pieces of upcoming verses to making unexpected appearances, the rapper is staying very unpredictable. Although making it is more or less certain that his upcoming album is nearly (if not already) complete, he has yet to make an official announcement. Additionally, what seemed to be a stage set for a grand announcement barely a couple of days ago now represents bleak hope.

In what might come as a big blow to fans’ expectations, disheartening news is now being reported off Italy involving an expected listening party.

Kanye West cancels Italy concert despite talks of rescheduling

Excitement and hype for the upcoming Ye album went through the roof when, about a week ago, snippets surfaced from his private listening party. A highly enthusiastic Kanye West alongside collaborator, Ty Dolla $ign, played some fresh tunes whose catchy beats swooned the Internet. Following it, about a couple of days ago, the rapper had booked the Rcf Arena in Italy for a concert. Now, multiple new and credible reports have emerged stating the ‘Donda’ singer has canceled the event altogether.

In all likelihood, the 80,000-capacity arena was to host a public preview of the same album. Moreover, the reports also mentioned the possibility of the event shifting from its original date of October 13 to October 20. Undoubtedly, technical and logistic constraints were to arise for such a grand event to be held in such a short span of time. Thus, due to that very same reason, the event is now off the calendar.

Nevertheless, West may still choose to launch his album first with a listening party or concert to follow later. Additionally, it also looks like there could be more than one album on his plate.

Ye may be working on more than one album at this time

Not long after the preview snippet from West surfaced, came the news of Ty Dolla $ign tidying up his entire Instagram feed. It left the rapper duo’s fans more than convinced that a massive collaboration was forthcoming. Furthermore, if West is to stick to his traditional routine, then he may choose to release two albums. Most likely a solo soon followed by a collaboration.

However, in what might come as a head-scratcher, West also did something unexpected. Recently, Ye went ahead and filed 26 new trademarks for a new term associated with an apparel business. Hence, by all means, music is not the only area that West is eyeing to make a comeback at. Thus, the ‘Flashing Lights’ singer who has been outside the US for the larger part of this year may mark his homecoming amidst loud cheers.
