As Eilish released the music video of her hit track 'BIRDS OF A FEATHER' the criticism only intensified.

While the beef between Taylor Swift and Billie Eilish fans ranged from environmental concerns to who was the true girl's girl, upon the release of Eilish's latest music video, it has taken a not so constructive yet a turn of substance. Instead of comparing her to Swift fans have put Eilish in competition with herself, citing old music videos of the singer that they believed were high concept.

The music video, given the huge time window between the album release, is speculated to have only been released because of fans' demands or perhaps to further profit off the success of 'BIRDS OF A FEATHER'. Regardless, the backlash is severe.

Billie Eilish may be an Oscar and Grammy winning 22 year old now, but she was once a nineteen year old leaving the entire world gobsmacked with her tracks and talent. It was not just Eilish's music, but the music videos, different from any that the audiences had witnessed so far, that aided Eilish's rise to the mountain peak. However, in an imitation of her being dragged around in the 'BIRDS OF A FEATHER' video, Eilish is being dragged down by fans for the "meaningless videos."

Fans remarked how it seemed like the songstress was not even trying, and with her simply being moved around on a chair, their opinion did hold some weight.

While the comparisons were mostly made with Billie Eilish herself, there were some who pointed out how her counterparts like Sabrina Carpenter were quite literally creating a cinematic universe. Regardless, it was not all bad for Eilish as some fans took to interpreting the music video.
