Kanye West and Taylor Swift are, in some way, two opposite sides of a coin. Firstly, the duo, despite their over-a-decade-long feuding history, stands of tantamount importance to the music industry. Secondly, with massive contributions to the world of pop and hip-hop, they both command a swooning fan base. Finally, in the last year, both of them have taken steps towards upping their current status, although the ‘1989’ singer clearly took the lead. Now, coming back to their feud, longtime Swift associate, Jack Antonoff, just heated the arena.
Taking to X, formerly Twitter, the 39-year-old singer aimed a potshot at the rapper. Rekindling his words for Ye, Antonoff, called the latter a “little cry baby b*tch”. The response came following ‘Vultures’ second volume release date of March 8, coinciding with the former band Bleachers’ self-titled album drop date. The post soon divided social media with the two fandoms of Swift and West coming at loggerheads under the same thread.

Taylor Swift and Jack Antonoff have shared a collaboration history dating back to the 2012 MTV European Music Awards. Along with producing tracks for the pop star’s ‘Vault’ tracks, the singer has also co-written her ‘Reputation’, ‘Lover’, ‘Folklore’, ‘Evermore’, and ‘Midnights’ albums. Furthermore, he also extended his presence beyond professional careers as a guest to her cozy 34th birthday celebrations in New York.
In October 2022, the Bleachers member had first spoken out against Kanye West after a burst of controversial remarks. Continuing his war of words after nearly two years, his aiming of guns came close on the heels of the ‘Flashing Lights’ singer, dropping a surprise announcement regarding his upcoming Ty Dolla $ign collaboration.
In the meantime, fans broke out into mini debate halls of their own, defending and questioning the rapper.

Remarkably, even as a section of Kanye West fans lashed out at Jack Antonoff, a few also pondered about the rapper’s decision for the same. However, in overall terms, the comment section stood divided with Ye’s fandom attacking Antonoff and the latter’s clout admiring him for his brave exchange. Quick to jump on words, the singer’s statement comes at a time when Ye has also found his way back to social media.
