Taylor Swift dominates the Billboard Music Awards with major wins 

On Sunday, the results of the Billboard Music Awards came out where Taylor Swift was nominated in 20 different categories. She won an impressive 10 awards and tied with Drake as the most-awarded recipient in BBMA history. But Morgan Wallen was the one who won the most awards at the annual music awards show and took home 11 awards. Meanwhile, the ‘Midnights’ songstress also gave a heartwarming speech thanking her fandom.

“I’m talking to the fans, specifically. None of this happens without you,” Swift said in the pre-recorded video. The 33-year-old was talking from her Eras Tour, which started its Latin American leg in Brazil. The past few days have been disheartening for the singer because one of her fans died before her concert in Rio. So the ‘Cruel Summer’ singer postponed her concert concerning for the safety of her fans and crew members.

However, her historic BBMA win has added some relief to the gloomy cloud surrounding the beloved superstar. The Grammy winner even expressed her gratitude to fans for watching her documentary The Eras Tour and thanked them ten million times for making this possible. While her BBMA win is a recent feather in her cap, the singer has created history many times in 2023.

Miss Americana has made 2023 a historic year in music 

2023 has been a whirlwind ride for Taylor Swift. This year brought more power to the singer as she made waves in the industry, bagging several prestigious awards. In February, the ‘Lover’ singer made history at the Grammys winning for the Best Music Video for ‘All Too Well’. The short film starring Sadie Sink and Dylan O’Brien instantly became the number-one trending video and racked up over 14 million views upon its release.

In September, she attended the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards and swept nine awards from 11 nominations. According to MTV, she tied the all-time record for the most wins in a single evening. Besides all these achievements, the old songs of the pop icon have been hitting the bar high these days. Her 2019 song ‘Cruel Summer’ has completed four weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 Songs chart. It drew 73.9 million radio airplay audience impressions and 14.4 million streams in November.
