Over the years, Kanye West has become one of the most controversial yet popular artists in the world. Although he every so often finds himself caught up in controversy, the artist has managed to keep his global fan following. While there has been a debate about which beloved 90s-2000s rapper deserves the title of GOAT, two Grammy-winning artists recently shared their thoughts on who would be worthy of the title.
Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz recently shared some insight into who they thought was hip-hop’s GOAT. However, they accidentally ended up leaving some of the biggest rap names off their list.

In a recent episode of Complex’s GOAT Talk, Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz made their way onto the show. During their time there, they ended up revealing their GOAT Christmas songs, hip-hop producer, and even who their favorite rappers were. Kanye West made his way to both their lists as the greatest hip-hop producer of all time, despite all his album delays. While they were only voicing their opinions, they ended up missing out on Dr. Dre and Jay-Z.
Ye has been buddies with ‘The Story of O.J.’ rapper since the early days of his career. However, Dr. Dre has been hailed for his work with Eminem, 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg, and even 2Pac a little before the ‘Graduation’ artist made his way on the scene. With such an experience list and Wayne’s connection to the artists, it came as a surprise that the rappers had gone another way instead of choosing the legend.
Although the head of the Carter household might have missed out on the title of hip-hop’s GOAT producer, he ended up on another part of the list.
Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz revealed their GOAT rapper
During the same interview, Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz ended up picking a card that asked them who their pick for GOAT rapper was. While both of them had to take a minute to think about it, their answers were almost the same. The rappers were unable to pick only one. However, they agreed that Jay-Z was on their list. The ‘Drop The World’ rapper chose Missy Elliott as his second choice, but the ‘We Own It’ rapper ended up choosing him.

The response left the rapper almost pouting in shyness. After all, he has been known to be modest about his talent once in a while. There is no denying that Wayne would be on the GOAT list. However, many other early 2000s legends would also make the list.
