Less Than a Month After Calling Taylor Swift Travis Kelce’s Wife, Tony Romo Does It Again
In the last year, the world has seen Taylor Swift not only dominate the billboard charts and the box office; she has also taken over the NFL. While the pop sensation might be making appearances at games to support her beau, Travis Kelce, she has constantly been put in the spotlight. From big screen moments to comments aimed at her, the singer has put up with all of it.
However, now, less than a month since the NFL’s last commentary slip-up calling Swift the wife of the athlete, Tony Romo has done it once again at the latest Kansas City Chiefs match against the Buffalo Bills.

On Sunday, Taylor Swift made her way to New York’s Highmark Stadium to support Travis Kelce and the rest of the Kansas City Chiefs. At the match, she met up with the NFL star’s brother, Jason Kelce, and his wife, Kylie Kelce, for the first time. While they had all been there to support the tight end against the Buffalo Bills, a touchdown from the 34-year-old led to another iconic moment narrated by Tony Romo, according to USA Today.
After the singer was displayed on the big screen, Romo noticed the older Kelce brother behind her and exclaimed, “There’s your brother-in-law, right behind you.” However, this time, no correction to his statement followed. Instead, his broadcast partner, Jim Nantz, just laughed it off. Right after the comment from the 43-year-old, the network headed into a commercial break.
While the stars are still figuring out their relationship, it is safe to say Romo sees wedding bells in their future. After all, this was not his first time making the claim.
Tony Romo’s previous Taylor Swift slip-ups
Taylor Swift has made various appearances throughout this year’s NFL season. While her fans are loving her new interest, it looks like the singer has racked up more attention. However, Tony Romo’s latest slip-up has stolen the show. It was the third time that the commentator had referred to the pop sensation as Travis Kelce’s wife. The last time it happened was during the last Buffalo Bills match against the Kansas City Chiefs in December.

Before that, it happened during the Christmas Day match. While Swift was celebrating a catch by Kelce, Romo said, “his wife loves it,” as the screen panned to her. However, with the slip-up becoming a common occurrence, it looks like the commentator might be a fan of the couple himself.
