Kendrick Lamar and Drake deserve all the credit for waking the rap world up in these last few months. From chart-busting tracks to allegations that would make anyone's jaw drop, the 2024 beef had people hooked on hip-hop updates for quite some time. However, it now seems that the heated battle has finally cooled off, and fans have already crowned their winner- Kendrick Lamar, of course, except for the die-hard Drake loyalists. 

One such loyalist, Camila Cabello, recently brought trouble upon herself by sharing her opinion on the beef. The songstress, in her interview with The Times, took Drake’s side in the feud, saying, "He is such a delight". She further explained how “frustrating” it is to see the negativity directed towards Drizzy following the contentious claims made in Kendrick Lamar’s diss. Further suggesting a way to make amends, Cabello added, "If only you guys could just have dinner or something”. 

 Cabello recently collaborated with Drake on her latest album, ‘C,XOXO,’ for two tracks- ‘Hot Uptown’ and ‘Uuugly.’ The ‘Senorita’ singer shared how she slid into Drake’s DMs to make this collaboration happen. This was Drake’s first release since ‘The Heart Part 6,’ his final salvo in the beef. While the battle has certainly died down, Cabello’s statement has once again riled Kendrick Lamar fans.

Camila Cabello faced a torrent of trolls on social media as soon as her backing of Drake came to light.

Camila Cabello and Drake have been in touch ever since the songstress released 'Havana' in 2018. They made headlines last year after they were spotted vacationing and hanging out on a boat in Turks and Caicos. Seeing such bonding between the two artists, it was not surprising for her to take Drake’s side. However, K. Dot fans were not ready to let this pass. They made sure to remind Cabello that “Kendrick will cook her too” if he wanted to.

Meanwhile, some trolled Cabello’s suggestion of settling the beef over dinner, questioning whether she even knows anything about hip-hop at all.

Kendrick Lamar and Drake's exchange became the most high-profile rap beef in a generation where legendary rappers are said to be losing relevance. Although it is in the rearview mirror now, the feud has certainly instilled the essence of competitiveness in the hip-hop world yet again.
