Now, various news outlets reported Lamar leaving the Electric Lady Studios in New York City moments after Swift. Alongside the duo, another longtime associate of the singer, Jack Antonoff, also marked his exit, thus confirming his presence.

The reports set off a fiery spark of hints of a collaboration eight years after their first. Kendrick Lamar even re-recorded his lines for ‘1989 (Taylor’s Version)’, earning praise and respect from Taylor Swift. The singer’s return to the studio comes amidst a pause in the Eras Tour concerts following its 2023 leg. The last album the ‘Wildest Dreams’ singer released was the aforementioned one back in October 2023.
