In her conversation with The Standard, Love confessed that she had a huge crush on Kendrick Lamar. However, she would like to take these matters of the heart to the studio and also work with him.

Love also labeled the 'Not Like Us' artist a genius, as have most of his fans owing to his lyrical mastery. However, she would not be the first or last female artist to wax poetic about the rapper, as Taylor Swift has been leading this crowd quite literally in her 'Bad Blood' music video.

The equation that Kendrick Lamar shares with Taylor Swift became a major point of contention amidst the heated rap battle with Drake.

While it is well known that Taylor Swift has a massive impact on the music industry, the fact that the singer also had a good foot in the Hip-Hop industry came to be known when in the heat of the rap battle, to counter Kendrick Lamar, Drake released a track titled 'Taylor Made' freestyle.

Drake's impromptu freestyle was the only move that earned him winning points in the rap battle that engulfed most of the music scene this year. While the Eras Tour singer did not herself reveal her stance, it is pretty clear whose side she may be on.
