In a record-breaker at the 67th Grammys, Kendrick Lamar solidified himself in hip-hop's elite, becoming only the third rap artist in history to win more than 20 Grammys. Compton native Lamar's blockbuster 'Not Like Us' dominated at the ceremony, sweeping all five categories it was nominated in during the pre-show telecast at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.

The milestone places Kendrick Lamar in a single group with performers such as rap legends Ye, earlier known as Kanye West, and Jay-Z, both having 24 Grammys in their portfolio. Most recently, he won Best Music Video, Best Rap Song, and Best Rap Performance, taking him to 22 Grammys in total. The achievement places him firmly in most decorated performers in music, only below Quincy Jones (28) and Stevie Wonder (25) in Black male performers.
