While it is difficult to determine if the track took a dip due to its elemental lack or whether the hate was an inevitability of Drizzy’s infamous confrontations with the ‘Not Like Us’ rapper, the show of cringe was too abundant to overlook. 

American online streamer and YouTuber, Kai Carlo Cenat III, recently previewed an unreleased collaboration track between Drake and Lil Yachty on livestream. Earlier, Drake referenced the Twitch streamer by namedropping him on his Kendrick Lamar slam track ‘Push Ups’ while he also showed some love for Cenat during a 2023 show in Atlanta. Although these interactions testify to a good bond between the Canadian rapper and Cenat, the unexpected stream accompanied an unprecedented row of jabs directed at Drake. 

The track does not have an official title, but the streamer played it in full while engaging with fans live. Although the opening verse and flow are reminiscent of Drake's style from his 'For All the Dogs' era, it triggered negative reactions from Lamar's fans, reviving old grievances from the feud. Despite its catchy tone, the song was dragged down by Lamar’s ardent fan base.

Recently, K-Dot’s fan base was incensed by Drake’s purchase of Tupac Shakur’s BMW 7 Series for $1.75 million, the car in which Tupac was shot 28 years ago. This time, however, the criticism was aimed at Drake’s skills.

Many fans felt the track deserved to be labeled as “Garbage,” with some expressing their disdain in a more humorous way. A few others, however, showed their unwavering support for Drake, waiting for the track to be released.
