The music universe is a testament to the powerhouse that is Taylor Swift. The world was left shocked when she boosted the US economy by a whopping $5.7 billion with her Eras tour, further confirming that there’s nothing the celebrated singer-songwriter cannot achieve. At the same time, she had her fair share of feuds as well. Starting from Kanye West’s infamous mike-snatching scuffle at the VMAs in 2009 to Katty Perry’s supposed Bad Blood with the singer. 

Although the Swift-Perry conflict saga ended in 2019 when the Love Story singer asked Perry to feature in her song ‘You Need to Calm Down‘. Furthermore, Perry has now greenlighted Swift’s recent rumored relationship.

Taylor Swift has Katy Perry’s blessing

The Roar singer sent the entire internet into a frenzy with just two words when she reacted to a recently released picture of Swift and Travis Kelce by Vogue magazine. She wrote “I ship,” giving her blessings to the rumored new couple in town. The couple sparked dating rumors when Swifties spotted Kelce attending her Eras tour. In addition to that, the singer was also seen attending the athlete’s NFL games. While both the celebrities have not confirmed their romance, their frequent outings paint a different picture. 

Recently both of them made surprise cameos in the comeback episode of SNL, Swift even graced the stage to introduce Ice Spice, who was the musical guest of the episode. And finally, the night reached a zenith when Kelce dropped a “yes please” to talk about football. After the show, the couple was seen holding hands, heading for the SNL after-party.

After taking over headlines with her new beau, Swift has been getting approvals for her new relationship from celebrity friends, Perry now joining the bandwagon. This approval almost makes their ‘Bad Blood’ seem like it never existed. But someone who followed news back then knows how it all went down.

The Swift and Perry conflict

The relationship between the iconic singers used to be quite good in the early years of their careers. But some of the backup dancers quitting Swift’s ‘Red’ tour and joining Perry’s ‘Prismatic’ tour caused a major rift between the artists. Further, their story got even more complicated when Perry started dating John Mayer, who once dated Swift, with the relationship ending on a sour note. Then began a seemingly major song and lyrics battle that lasted for years.

Perry finally put the media and the confused fans to rest when she shared a picture of chocolate chip cookies that the Red singer baked for her. The plate was beautifully decorated with red frosting that spelled “Peace at last.” Perry further added the location as “Let’s be friends” with a feel good caption.
